Project Definition: Having three tandem reservoirs, the project site is located on the Kelkit River, the main tributary of the Yesilirmak River of the Northern Turkey. Mean annual flows at three diversion dam sites are 328, 340 and 775 m3/s respectively. Having a gross head of 115 m, the group of three HEPP will generate 78.2 GWh per year with its total installed capacity of 25,8 MW.

Mean annual flow of this river at the project location is about 1.2 billion m3. Having a gross head of 34 m the HPP would generate 63 GWh per year with its installed capacity of 14.5 MW.

 KÖPRÜBASI DAM ENERGY STRUCTURES

Project Definition: The project consists of a dam and waterway power generation scheme in which a rockfill dam 108 m in height, providing an effevtive reservoir capacity of 143 hm3, conducts water to an underground power house by a penstock. The additional upper part of the reservoir will be allocated to flood mitigation purpose during six-month flood period. Out of this period, together with the additional flood mitigation volume, the total effective storage capacity of 188 hm3 would regulate 99,4% of the average flow of Devrek creek. With an installed capacity of 74 MW two identical Francis turbines would generate 203 GWh annually. The scope of work includes specifically the facilities relating to the energy purpose.

Project Definition: The Ayvasil Diversin Dam and HEPP project is located in the Eastern Black Sea basin of the Northern Turkey, on the Pilahoz Stream which lies within the Rize Province. Consisting of a diversin dam 4 m in height; a conveyence cannal (162 m in length) and a tunnel (464 m in length); and a hydroelectric power plant, this small hydro project would generate 11 GWh annual energy with an installed capacity of 2,4 MW.

Project Definition:
Çigdemli Diversin Dam and HEPP project is located in the Eastern Black Sea basin of the Northern Turkey. The water resource of the project, the Buyuk Stream lies within the Rize Province. The project consists of a diversin dam of 5 m in height, a 500 m long conveyence tunnel and a hydroelectric power plant with an installed capacity og 4,3 MW. The penstock length is 110 m. Two units HEPP would utilize a gross head of 59 m and generate 20 GWh hydroelectric energy annually.
